Zeno Facades delivered a full facade refurbishment at Keyworth School, upgrading an ageing building envelope to meet modern performance and safety standards. The project involved the removal of existing concrete panels and deteriorated hanging tiles, replacing them with a new insulated facade system designed to improve durability, thermal efficiency, and overall building performance.

The new facade incorporated a modern cladding solution, including elements of the Vulcan system, selected to enhance fire performance while providing a clean, contemporary finish. The design approach ensured the building met current regulatory requirements, while also significantly improving its external appearance.

Delivered within a live school environment, the works required careful planning and coordination to maintain safety and minimise disruption to staff and students. The project was carried out in a controlled manner, ensuring the programme progressed efficiently while maintaining strict site safety standards.

The completed facade has transformed the building, providing a robust and compliant external envelope that supports long-term performance. The project demonstrates how considered facade design and installation can extend the lifespan of existing buildings while improving both function and visual impact.
